A systematic at-home skin-check routine. Which zones, how to record changes, when to book a visit.
A monthly self-check takes 5 minutes and helps spot changes that would otherwise go unnoticed. Use a full-length mirror and good lighting.
Check sequence

Face, neck
Use a hand mirror to also check behind ears and on the scalp.

Arms, hands
Check both sides, between fingers, under nails.

Chest, abdomen
Women — also under the breasts.

Back
Use a second mirror or ask a household member.

Legs
Thighs, knees, calves, feet — also between toes and under nails.

Groin
Check with a hand mirror.
Photo log
Photograph each suspicious area on your phone with the date. Compare after 1–3 months — this is the single most useful tool for tracking change.
